Those sweet and comforting words you once said without being prompted.
Those times we were happy, crazy, and believed nothing could stop us from being together.
Last semester, my class had this “angel-mortal” activity that brought out the hidden softie in me.
When my mortal opened the plain kraft box, she was greeted with a pop-out balloon, grounded by her favourite cup of Starbucks.
That day, she went home and shared her gratitude and thoughts on our class Facebook page. It feels awesome to know I made her day - especially since she had a bad day, was skipping class and my friend managed to catch her to pass this gift to her.
It feels great to make people happy. But sometimes, I do wonder if I’ll ever be on the receiving end of this gift.
We all deserve to be loved and cared for.
Would anyone go the extra mile for me though?
